Submit a sound
I’m going to redo all the weapon sounds a 2nd time now. And this time I want you to submit sounds from your AEG’s, GBB’s and GBBR’s etc.
You will of course be credited for you sounds, and you will get your own bot (a bot with your name or a call sign you have).
I prefer that the sound will be recorded outside; it will give the best results. And, if possible, avoid any background sounds.
You have to record 2 sounds of the same weapon, 1st person and 3rd person, to record the 1st person sound you should position the microphone so that it where your head should be when firing, not too close.
The third person sounds should be recorded 2 – 3 meters from the gun, the important thing when recording 3rd person sounds is that the motor sound is low compared the piston and BB exiting the muzzle.
I recommend that you record a lot of sounds and then choose the sounds that matches your gun best.
Start by recording with the mic 30 cm from the body of the gun, then move slowly away while you shoot and remember to keep the mic behind the gun when recording 1st person sounds.
Files should be .wav or .mp3
When naming the sounds, do it so that I have a chance of using them correctly.
Start by writing what weapon it is MP5, M4 etc.
Then _ and write what type of gun it is.
GBBR, GBB, AEG, BoltAction etc.
Then _ and write which RateOfFire the gun have (approx) IN RPM!!!
Then _ and then write whether it is 1st person (1p) or 3rd person (3p)
If I should submit the sound of my M4, it would look like this:
M4_AEG_ROF1320_1p.wav
M4_AEG_ROF1320_3p.wav
Thanks in advance
